This patient hated her crowns. They were done 10 years ago to mask her tetracycline-stained teeth.
She also had an open bite. Several other doctors told her she needed to have her jaw broken, braces, and 28 crowns done to restore her bite. She was very concerned about having “fake looking teeth”.
To top all that off, she is phobic, and wanted to be sedated to have any dental work.
With the help of the talented ceramist (porcelain artist) Eddie Corrales, we designed a new smile with 10 units all in a single day. We chose natural contours, brightened the shade 10 shades, and changed her entire face and bite!
She was beyond thrilled, and believe it or not, this helped her overcome her fear of the dentist! She says now she needs to “learn to smile” since she has spent most of her life hiding her teeth.
Now this gorgeous vibrant woman has a smile to match her personality!
