Upping Our Root Canal Game
I flew in the top laser root canal specialist so my team could learn the latest in innovative holistic techniques for root canals.

I made this new video about holistic root canals specifically for my holistic patients. The holistic community is often wholly opposed to the traditional, old-fashioned (and painful) way of doing root canals, due to studies done many decades ago by Price-Pottenger and Hal Huggins.
Standard, traditional root canals use a filling material called gutta percha. We offer the modern laser root canal method and a bioceramic sealer.
Many dentists still do root canals like they live in the dark ages. Many don’t even know that they can be done nearly painlessly with a laser.
Is this tooth smiling? No! This is a sad tooth, showing a botched root canal. See how we fixed this.
It’s Toxic Thursday! Check this out: This patient had 2 root canals completed in the past year at another dentist. After each of those, she had constant inflammation in her mouth. Look at the spotting on the roof of the mouth: Tap/Click to embiggen. The x-ray didn’t really show much to help with diagnosis: Tap/Click…
This photo by Juliherme Andrade illustrates the old-fashioned and obsolete way of doing root canals – that many (if not most) dentists still perform!
May the 4th be with you! Gone are the dark times of painful, ineffective and old-fashioned root canals. The laser-based method is 100% painless and far superior at cleaning out the wretched hive of scum and villainy in your canal.
Many, if not most holistic dentists make the universal claim that “all” root canals are bad. What they are referring to is the old-fashioned technique.
In the photo here, a large cavity from the wisdom tooth was pressing on the back of the second molar causing a cavity we couldn’t reach. It was so deep it was almost to the nerve.
Holistic patients often don’t want to keep anything dead in the body. Because standard root canals usually leave behind a dead ligament, they are often told not to get a root canal. But if they have a tooth that needs a root canal, that is also a dead or dying tooth. So what to do? So many patients of my holistic patients are confused over this issue.
During dental extractions and other procedures, some of the typical materials used are from cadavers or cow bone. With Platelet Rich Fibrin, we make restorative materials from your own blood.
A couple days ago, I used our new laser to remove this huge cyst around a failed root canal. With the laser, No drills were used, and the procedure was painless. (Still want to go to your “regular” dentist?)
This patient was under the regular care of another dentist who poorly placed an implant 2 years ago. That implant almost immediately failed.
The dentist also did not address the failing infected root canals, the pus around the implant, or the extensive decay eroding her teeth.
Had a nice lunch meeting with Dr. Randy Garland to talk about pulpal regeneration. We were discussing the latest techniques in avoiding root canals!
This is an exciting new cutting-edge technique that is extremely conservative, and can help a tooth that is dying to begin healing itself.
Amazing.
Here are two photos of patients that had root canals and crowns done at 2 different dentists. Coincidentally, the patients are father and son who came into our office, as their crowns kept falling off. (One was glued back on 4 times previously!)
There’s been a lot of controversy in the dental community about the safety of root canals lately – moreover if they’re good for you or not.
I made this video to address the issue.
