As a breastfeeding momma, I have to increase my protein in order to have a healthy supply. The problem? I can’t have soy, cow whey, or egg protein, and I dislike the taste of pea protein.
I just discovered organic goats milk whey (at Whole Foods). It’s sweetened just slightly with organic honey and mixed with goats milk or water.
I think it is delicious! Kids would love it also – it’s like a healthy carnation instant breakfast. I have at least 2 shakes a day.
