In dentistry as in life, there are often many ways to solve a problem.
This patient came in because he wanted his old veneers and bonding replaced. His teeth were misaligned.
His previous doctor tried to attempt to make them look straight by placing very thick bonding on the teeth. Over time they started to ship and stain.
The patient also had a deep bite. His upper teeth covered his bottom teeth entirely, also causing chipping and wear.

When he came into my office, I suggested a different philosophy and a more conservative approach.
Rather than redoing 10 veneers, I advised moving the teeth with Invisalign to correct the bite, as this would also prevent future chipping and wear. I re-contoured off the old veneers slowly.
