Sleep apnea problems are caused by an obstruction of the airway. Many times a lack of restful sleep is caused by undiagnosed sleep apnea.
People that have been diagnosed with sleep apnea by their doctor often wear bulky, uncomfortable breathing machines while they sleep. These are called CPAP machines.
(To further illustrate how horrible this can be, here’s a guy who turned his CPAP an alien facehugger.)
What most people don’t know is that there are alternatives to the CPAP.
In this video, I talk about how patients can be diagnosed, how that works with insurance, and some of the device alternatives to CPAP machines that trained dentists can supply to help treat sleep apnea.
