With our technology, I am able to safely remove the amalgam and explore the depth of the fractures.
I fiber-reinforce them and bond the enamel to the cracks to prevent the need for crowns and (hopefully) future root canals.
For the teeth in all of the photos above, we did 4 very large fillings. The patient left extremely happy with the result, which you can see an example of in the photo below.
